PMA Congratulates Children's Home Society’s Heather Moeller

Heather Moeller, CFRE joined Children's Home Society in November as Regional Director of Philanthropy.  Her depth of knowledge and expertise in philanthropy will add to a phenomenal fundraising team at CHS which is located in cities across North Carolina and led by VP of Philanthropy Kristen Smalley   The agency, which has served children and families in North Carolina for over 100 years, is led by President & CEO Brian Maness.  Ultimately, both Kristen and Brian wanted to partner with a new Regional Director of Philanthropy who would elevate philanthropy in the Western Region and build on their already successful fundraising strategies.  



Penny Hawkins, Senior Consultant with PMA Consulting, served as the Interim Regional Director of Philanthropy and led PMA's search process.  "Heather is the perfect fit for Children's Home Society of North Carolina," noted Hawkins.  "After working with Children's Home Society I knew they needed a seasoned fundraiser, but also someone who was willing to use creativity and new strategies to navigate a current and post-Covid environment.  She also knows the Charlotte community and Western North Carolina and will immediately make a positive impact and connection with donors and prospects."
