PMA Seeks Digital Marketing Associate

PMA Consulting is seeking a talented part-time associate to support its growing digital media platform and expanding project work with nonprofit leaders throughout the Carolinas and across the United States. The work will be virtual and can start immediately. The Digital Marketing Associate will develop valuable content for PMA's nonprofit leadership community in a dynamic learning environment and deliver it across the firm's media platforms including its website, podcast, and various social media channels. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assure Website Optimization. Study the relevant metrics for the PMA website through Google Analytics and make/recommend changes to improve the site's functionality.

  • Provide Content Calendar Management. Help manage and provide content for a continuous marketing and content-rich calendar.

  • Develop Written Content. Research relevant nonprofit topics, client profiles and project case studies for short and long-form blog posts with keyword emphasis and high SEO value.

  • Repurpose Content. Utilizing PMA's library of blog posts, podcast episodes and presentation material, repurpose existing content into different digital, audio and video formats.

  • Support Podcast Production. Help increase listeners for PMA's podcast, Your Path to Nonprofit Leadership, by tracking key metrics, researching potential guests and topics, drafting episode outlines and show notes, and developing creative strategies to market the show across all platforms. 

  • Support PMA's Virtual Leadership Programs. Update existing materials (i.e., PPTs and Word documents) for PMA's Mastermind Programs, Leadership Gift School and the New Development Professionals program.  Support research and development for new leadership programs including an exclusive membership community and digital courses.  

  • Provide Project Management Support.  Working alongside PMA consultants, provide client research and data collection, develop project material including proposals, presentations and final reports, and develop new onboarding and post-project support material.  

  • Support Book Launch.  Develop and produce creative strategies to promote Dr. Patton McDowell's book Your Path to Nonprofit Leadership, scheduled for release in early 2022.   

Qualifications

  • Excellent writing, editing and document management skills

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft and Google suite of applications

  • Comfort and skill working in a virtual environment, primarily Zoom

  • Excellent project management skills, ability to work independently, deadline-focused

  • Content creation in digital, audio and video platforms a plus

  • Positive personality, creative energy, and an enthusiasm for the nonprofit sector 

Hours and Compensation 

  • Flexible hours averaging 10-15 hours per week

  • Compensation: $15 per hour; eligible for increased hours/and hourly rate after 60 days
