After shining as PMA's Graduate Student Intern since 2021, we are proud to announce that Katelynn Bruno has accepted a job as Development Director for the Matthews Free Medical Clinic in Matthews, NC. 

"We are so grateful for Katelynn's many contributions to the PMA organization, and are excited about what she will  bring to the Matthews Free Medical Clinic," said PMA's President Patton McDowell.  "They've gained a hardworking and meticulous colleague, someone who doesn't hesitate to go the extra mile, and someone who possesses a great passion for nonprofit leadership."

Katelynn has a Masters in Public Administration focused in Nonprofit Management (2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management (2020), both from UNC Charlotte. Prior to pursuing her graduate degree, she worked as a Registry Growth Intern for Gift of Life-Marrow Registry and Project Life Movement. She also served as the President of Ninerthon (UNC Charlotte's Dance Marathon Program) during her undergraduate career. As President, she reported directly to the development team at the Atrium Health Foundation and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and gained valuable nonprofit experience in the process. She is passionate about eliminating barriers to upward mobility in the greater Charlotte-Mecklenburg community, as well as rehabilitation efforts for those recovering from addiction, incarceration, homelessness, and/or fleeing from intimate partner violence (IPV).
